You’re Invited – Come Visit Vista Academy This Saturday!

As the Okanagan's premier institute for children with Autism and special needs, Vista Academy is proud to provide local families with a one-on-one, inclusive and meaningful education that supports and empowers every students' unique learning needs. Using only the highest standard of evidence-based assessments and interventions, their dedicated staff work closely with children from birth to Grade 6.

"As a mother of two children with Autism, I understand the fear parents face when experiencing a diagnosis and the need to explore intervention and schooling options for their child." Ashley Sali, Vista Academy's Executive Director, co-founded the non-profit learning center in 2016 with the dream of making meaningful education accessible for every student.

As of 2018, it was recorded that 1 in 66 children in Canada were diagnosed with Autism (Canada ASD Report). Managing behaviours, learning and life skills can be overwhelming, especially for families with children who have Autism or special needs.

“Its Vista Academy's mission to help change the lives of those students and their families. I want our community to know that they have options and Vista Academy is listening," said Ashley.

With a comprehensive and holistic approach to education, Vista Academy equips students and families with the skills they need to succeed and thrive, whether in school or out in the community.

"Vista is different from every other service provider in the Okanagan. Our main goal is to teach students how to learn independently and ultimately, successfully integrate the students back into their regular learning environments," shared Ashley.
