Today will be a great day to take the dog for a hike and admire the colourful foliage around Kelowna.

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English says a high pressure over the southern part of the province will make for another beautiful sunny day.
 

“Enjoy a pleasant fall day ahead with afternoon temperatures in the low double digits,” she says.

“Sun and cloud will remain in the forecast for Thursday, but signs point to mountain snow and valley rain on Friday.”

Nighttime lows are expected to stay above freezing for the rest of the work week as well, but that will likely change over the weekend.
