Breaking News:

This is some breaking news!

  • Back to sunshine Thursday before a wet weekend

The Okanagan Valley saw some rain on Wednesday, which was quite the change after the recent run of gorgeous weather.

It was still a welcome sight when it comes to the upcoming fire season, especially since the Kamloops Fire Centre has already seen a couple of early season blazes.

It’ll once again be a beautiful sunny day today, but that rain will return in time for a wet weekend in the valley.

“After a wet Wednesday, we will see a pause between weather systems today with partial clearing and sunny breaks,” said NowMedia meteorologist, Wesla English.

“However, an active weather pattern will return Friday with more intermittent rain and cooler conditions through the weekend.”

Today’s high is 14°C and daytime temperatures are expected to stay around that level over the coming days.

The weekend is right around the corner, Kelowna, have a great Thursday!
