The leaves are changing, mornings and nights are getting chilly, your summer pots are starting to see signs of frost damage- fall is here! Luckily the days are still warm so it’s a perfect time put away the summer pots and give your front entry some Autumn love.
Pumpkins, squash & gourds are one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to show your neighbors you’re aware the seasons have changed. If you want the modern, unique colors like white, dusty blue, and cream don’t wait-these sell out first! Ornamental cabbage is also a hot trend for fall and the texture is a nice juxtaposition to the smooth surface of the pumpkins. Try Davidson’s Orchards or Better Earth Garden for some beautiful fall accessories.
Just like fashion, fall entries are all about layers. Find a cute coir mat, also known as coconut fibre, and layer it on a larger mat with a pattern for a stylish, cozy look. Layer wood crates, concrete pillars, lanterns to give height to your accessoires.
Finally, a simple, modern wreath can have a huge impact. You don’t have to have a green thumb or even be very creative to create a minimalistic wreath. Pinterest and Michaels Craft Store will be your best friend! When in doubt, eucalyptus or boxwood are always a good choice.
Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year, and now your front entrance can match!
