It’s not the best weather to prevent more fires, but it does make for a nice day at the beach.
A stretch of hot days, which kicked off on Sunday, continues today with temperatures getting up to 30°C and possibly higher.
“As an upper ridge gradually builds over the Pacific, we will gradually see temps increase,” said Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist. “Expect sun and temperatures in the 30s with breezy conditions at times on Tuesday.”
The UV index will get up to nine today, which is considered very high and calls for sunscreen if you’re going to spend time in the sun.
No need for allergy medicine, however, as the pollen index reads low and is expected to stay that way through the next few days.
Have a great Tuesday in the sun, Kelowna!
