Hockey stick disguised as shotgun leads RCMP to two arrests

Just after 9 p.m. on July 19, the Prince George RCMP received a report that two masked individuals were walking along the 1900 block of Victoria Street and taking turns pointing a shotgun at members of the public.

Multiple police attended the location and arrested two suspects that were covering their faces with bandanas.

The shotgun was found to be a field hockey stick covered in black tape.

A 32-year-old male Prince George resident and a 30-year-old male Prince George resident were arrested for passion of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and pointing a firearm.
