Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for Prince George

A severe thunderstorm watch is currently in effect for Prince George.

According to Environment Canada, conditions are favorable for the development of a severe thunderstorm that may cause strong winds, heavy rain and large hail.

Strong wind gusts have the potential to toss objects, break branches and overturn vehicles. Be sure to take any valuable items inside!
