It's probably the most startling new direction A&W has taken since the restaurant first opened in the U.S. in 1919. The Canadian fast food chain introduced a veggie burger this week. It's comes as a result of a partnership between A&W and U-S based "Beyond Meat." Obviously it's a vegetarian option and if ordered without mayonnaise, it's vegan.
We found a vegan (we didn't have to look very far) willing to give it a try.
