Thunderstorm watch in effect for Prince George

A severe thunderstorm watch is currently in effect for Prince George.

According to Environment Canada, conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of causing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Heavy downpours and strong wind have the potential to cause flash floods, broken branches and the damaged property.
