    Meet Kaylee Cassidy! Kaylee was born and raised in PG and has been living here for 27 years! 

    Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
    My favorite person to spend time with is my younger sister, Brianna. She is so full of energy, laughter and love and she inspires me to be a better person inside and out!

    What is your favourite local store in Prince George and why?
    T & F Country Sports! I recently found a love for archery and they sold me my very first bow, arrows and gear. Wonderful.

    Describe yourself in one word.
    Creative!

    If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
    Ireland! I would love to see all the cool old castles and hang out with some fellow Irish folk.

    What is your favourite activity in Prince George?
    I love driving around Prince George and exploring all the hidden back roads! So many cool places that most people would never know about!

    What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
    I thought my friend was J- Walking across the street and I rolled down my window and yelled at them. It was not my friend- it was a cop.

    What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
    Finding a love for what I do in everything I do. I am super excited to be training to be a doula in Prince George in 2019!

    Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
    Hanging out with my dad, watching Disney movies, drinking slurpies and listening to classic rock. He knew how to raise me right!

    Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
    I volunteer for JDRF and have for six years with the help of my fellow superstars Amanda and Katie and many more to name! Every year is super successful and we love giving back to the community and the fight!

    If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
    It sounds cheesy but peace. Not just no wars- overall peace of the body, mind and soul. A true understanding for each other as individuals- not of choices or what we look like.

    Where would you sneak away to in Prince George to spend some time alone?
    Remember those back roads I mentioned? There. One spot in particular though is Giscome where you can literally park beside the lake!

    Where would you like to see positive change in Prince George and why?
    I would love to see some positivity around downtown. It is a cool place with a lot of local shops, hidden gems and amazing food.

    What do you think makes Prince George great?
    The people. Hands down. So friendly, helpful and generous!

    What are 3 things on your bucket list?
    Get Married which will be checked off this October! 
    Travel to Ireland 
    Be able to do a handstand!

    I can palm read.

    How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?
    Facebook.

    What is the name of your business/organization?
    Off The Hook.

    Why did you get into/start this business?
    I found a love for crochet and began making things for family and friends. I was then asked to start making things for other people! It’s a great way to express my creativity and always be winter ready!

    What is the goal of your business?
    To keep P.G. warm and toasty from P.G. Winters!

    What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
    I am a procrastinator- I leave everything to last minute but that is usually when my best work happens!

    If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
    I am sure probably the same. I am very happy with who I am and how things have played out in my life!

    What do you always find yourself saying?
    Nap time!

    Love yourself first. If you can’t love yourself, how in the heck you gunna love somebody else! – Ru Paul

    If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
    Ed Sheeran. Why? Do I really have to say? #babe

    Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
    Supports our economy and other small businesses like myself! Much more of a pure interaction with local buyers and sellers than you get at big name stores

    What has been your proudest accomplishment?
    Buying my second house with my fiancé before age 30!

    Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
    My fiancé Keegan Gordon! He is the most amazing person and he supports all my crazy decisions and hobbies!
