I am an amateur photographer located in Prince George and I’ve been shooting with my Nikon for about a year and a half. I work in special needs education for SD57. I spend my spare time reading and going to the gym. I love animals and especially enjoy taking pictures of wildlife. I’m a proud auntie to four nephews and a niece.
I chose photography as a hobby because I believe that pictures can convey feelings to the audience as well as evoke an energy in the viewer that transcends words.
Why do you use Instagram?
I use Instagram to keep up with friends and to see the work of photographers across the world.
What will people see on your feed?
On my feed people will see mostly nature and wildlife pictures, along with landscape photos. I also take macro photography shots, which feature extreme close-ups of subjects such as insects and flower petals. I enjoy taking photos of abandoned places, bridges and pets as well. I have a squirrel friend, Tyri, who has been coming to spend time with me for over a year now. There are many pictures of her because she's adorable!
Does your page have a specific style?
I'm not sure if I would say my page has a certain style, but I try to shoot photos showcasing the beauty of nature that could evoke positive emotions in the viewer.

How do you decide on your location for shoots?
Sometimes I will plan on shooting at a specific location and time, but mostly I just take my gear with me when I am out and about. Prince George has so many beautiful parks!
Biggest Instagram moment?
My biggest Instagram moment was when my macro shot of the flower bud "Alien Flower" received a lot of likes.
