This is some breaking news!

  • Cooler temps, but it should stay dry in Kelowna today

Things feel a little fresher in Kelowna after Tuesday afternoon’s rainfall.

There’s a small chance that the Okanagan will see a little more of the wet stuff on Wednesday, but it will likely stay dry with temperatures around the 20°C mark.

“Expect a mix of sun and cloud today in the wake of yesterday’s cold front,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist. “Daytime high temperatures will be in the upper teens or low 20s."

“Showers will be unlikely, although a slight chance remains in the forecast.”

As of 6:50 a.m., it’s 8°C with a mix of sun and clouds and very calm winds.

The U.V. index is at 8, which is well higher than the index of 5 that we saw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the pollen index remains high, so take that allergy pill before you head out into the world today.

Enjoy your hump day, the weekend is right around the corner!
