The City of Victoria has put out a call to artists for Rock Bay Murals.

Rock Bay Murals is a new, one-time art project for emerging muralists and mid-career artists wanting to try their hand at making murals.

This project seeks to transform an industrial area of Victoria into an indoor gallery for street art.

According to the city, this project will see the creation of over 10 murals within the Rocky Bay community on both private and public property.

Murals will enhance the identity and character of Rocky Bay and support cultural tourism and economic development strategies.

The art project will be funded by the City’s Public Art Reserve Fund for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
