I was born in Prince George and have lived here my whole life. I feel like I’ve grown up with the city. I married a Prince George girl and have two kids. I enjoy the outdoors and like to bring a camera with me wherever I go.
Why do you use Instagram?
I love to point cameras at things and Instagram is a great way to share the images I make. My feed is filled up with family, friends and other interesting photographers.
What will people see on your feed?
My feed is a mixed bag of wildlife, landscapes, sunrises, family, pets, the odd vehicle and food.
Does your page have a specific style?
If I have a style it’s unintentional. I try to make images that interest me. If others appreciate them too, all the better.
Favourite Instagram accounts to follow?
How do you decide on your location for shoots?
I usually let my travel for work or vacation decide locations. That and the lighting conditions. The right light makes all the difference. When I’ve got a specific image in mind I will certainly plan things out. That might be the right background, the right time of day, or the right part of the world.
Favorite hashtags?
Even though I use hashtags in my posts, I don’t follow too many. I do follow #cityofpg. I also like #explorebc and #canadiancreatives
Why do you follow PrinceGeorgeNow?
I enjoy seeing images from local photographers, especially of the Prince George area.
