Part of Lakeshore Road will soon close for paving

A section of Lakeshore Road, in Kelowna’s Mission area, will soon be closed for paving.

The paving work will occur on the southbound lanes of Lakeshore Road, from just north of Dehart Road to Lequime Road.

It will begin Tuesday, May 15 at 7 a.m. and last until June 1, weather permitting.

Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Motorists are asked to follow the indicated detour route and use caution while travelling through construction zones.

Traffic personnel will be on-site to direct traffic during construction.
