These rocks are a great way for people to get out in the community, explore and maybe pick up an extra hobby.

In fact, there has been so much love for this activity that a Facebook page has been created where people can share rocks they have found or hidden!

The wide range of festive rocks is bringing the community together in the cutest way possible!

The exact origins of this hobby is rather unknown, but the rules are simple. If you find a rock you can keep it, hide it somewhere else or replace it with your own painted rock.
