  • Paving season is just around the corner

    Spring has sprung, and so have potholes!

    To counteract the winter road wreckage, paving crews will be hitting the PG streets next week.

    The largest projects are expected to be in operations on Cowart Road and two sections of Foothills Boulevard.

    This year’s road rehabilitation projects are as follows:

    • Highway 97 frontage road between Martin Road and Sabyam Road
    • Glenview Drive between Eden Drive and the north end of Glenview
    • Eden Drive between Taft Drive and Dawson Road
    • Toombs Drive (complete road)

    All projects are anticipated to be completed by May 16 but will depend upon weather.

    Motorists are advised to look for alternate routes whenever possible. All are reminded to drive carefully as road crew’s work.

    The City has estimated that the road projects will cost $5.3 million, while the budget for the sidewalk rehabilitation is about $1.2 million.
