One of the most popular Cirque du Soleil productions is coming to B.C. later this year.

Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops are all stops on the North American tour for Corteo, Cirque du Soleil’s latest arena production.

The Kelowna dates are Oct. 17-21 at Prospera Place and there will be a total of eight shows you can attend.

That includes evening shows on Wednesday and Thursday, with both matinee and evening shows from Friday through Sunday.

Tickets ware now on sale for Cirque Club member, but will go on sale to the general public through Select Your Tickets on Friday, May 11.

Corteo is a unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, that first premier in Montreal 13 years ago.

Since then, the show has been put on in 64 cities across 19 countries, wowing 8 million people in the process.

Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown.

The cast includes 51 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from all corners of the globe.
