The 7th annual Prince George Autism Awareness walk is set to take place, Saturday, April 21 at the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park.
This all-ages event is one of the biggest fundraisers for the cause but more than that, it’s an opportunity to come out a show your support for those living on the spectrum in your community.
The 1.5 km walk commences at 2:15 p.m. at the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park playground, up to Cottonwood park and then back again.
This fun-filled event was a huge success last year!
Organizers want to remind everyone to once again wear blue or their favorite au-some shirt.

Blue balloons will be handed out for encouragement and there will be a scavenger hunt to keep the kiddos occupied.

The event schedule is as follows:
- 1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Refreshments, balloon and scavenger bag hand-out for children, raffle ticket purchase
- 2 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.: Speeches by Special Guests
- 2:15 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Official Walk begins
- 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Cake, snacks,refreshments, goody bags, raffle draw Chuck-Susan Chin
