Breaking News:

This is some breaking news!

  • Enjoy Kelowna’s beautiful evening because it was snowing in Alberta today

July and August are amazing months for soaking up sunshine in Kelowna, but maybe the best part of an Okanagan summer is that it seems to last just a bit longer than the rest of Canada.

Case in point: today in Alberta.

Several communities along the edge of the Alberta Rockies received their first snowfall of the season on Wednesday, September 13th.

It's a harsh realization that winter is well on its way, but snowfall in Alberta isn't necessarily a rare occurrence.

Not to rub it in too much, but Kelowna enjoyed an absolutely stunning sunshine day on Wednesday!

Looks like Kelowna will be enjoying very similar weather right into the weekend as well.
