No matter what you may get up to, Kelowna always has something fun to do on your days off.
If you want to get out and about this weekend but aren't sure where to start, here is a list of great things we think you should check out on your weekend excursions.
Take advantage of the Okanagan Fruit
B.C. is known for its beauty and fresh produce, and the Okanagan is at the helm of the fresh fruit train. The amount of roadside fruit stands and farmer's markets we see while visiting different spots within the valley is crazy, so why not take advantage of them?

Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival

The annual Dragon Boat Festival returns to Tugboat Bay on Saturday morning. Kicking off bright and early, the event will boast competitors tackling 200 to 800-meter races. After the fun is done you can check out the vendor booths and beverage gardens until 4 p.m.
World Music Festival

To celebrate the end of an awesome summer, filled with great events, West Kelowna will be hosting its annual World Music Festival this Saturday night. From 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Memorial Park in West Kelowna, you and your friends can enjoy a night of genre spanning music from a line-up of talented local musicians.
Sport Bike Show and Shine

If you’re a fan of shiny, souped up bikes, you won’t want to miss the Sport Bike Show and Shine on Sunday morning. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the lot as the usual Saturday Farmers Market, you can drool over 500 stunning sport bikes and have the chance to win prizes.
Canada 150 concert

Throughout the summer the streets and parks of Kelowna have been filled with music, thanks to Parks Alive. After a great few months of hearing talented local artists showcase their skills, it will all reach its peak on Sunday night with the Canada 150 concert in Stuart Park. A killer line-up of artists including some Juno Award winning artists, you can spend your evening dancing in the park at this free event.
