The 300+ vendor market is created thanks to careful curating from both the Penticton Downtown Association and the Penticton Farmers Market.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the streets are lined with vendor booths selling everything from fresh produce to handmade jewelry, buskers and food trucks. The event brings in an average of 5,000 people every weekend in the summer and runs right through to Thanksgiving.

KelownaNow decided to head down to the peach city and learn more about the market and all it has to offer.
In addition to all the local, farm fresh, food you can also get your hands of fine wine from local wineries as well as stunning artwork from artists around the Okanagan.

An event that is better experienced in person, the Penticton Market is more than your average farmers and crafters market.
