Less than 24 hours after dropping a narrow game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the Kelowna Rockets were back on home ice and dominated the Spokane Chiefs 7-1 on Saturday night.

Up 2-0 in the second period, Owen Folstrom found the back of the net for his third goal of the season before Hiroki Gojsic fired a shot that nailed the crossbar and went in to make it 4-0.
The Rockets continued to push and blew the game wide open with three goals in the final five minutes of the middle frame.
The Kelowna squad then put the game on cruise control and allowed one goal in the third period en route to the 7-1 win.
Harrison Boettiger was solid in the net for the Rockets as the puck only got past him on one occasion, while he stopped 21 shots.
The Rockets are on the road today as they head south to take on the Everett Silvertips at 4:05 pm.
